Social atmosphere
Our Orchestra is about more than the notes on the page. Our weekly rehearsals are an opportunity to meet other musicians, enjoy a chat during the interval and share a common interest.
Our members bring a range of musical experience, but what unites us is a love of playing in an orchestra and spending time with fellow musicians.
A proud heritage in Baildon since 1945
Baildon Orchestra has been part of the local musical community since 1945. Over the decades, musicians have come together to share their enjoyment of orchestral music and the experience of playing as a group.
While the orchestra and its repertoire have evolved over the years, the central idea remains the same: bringing people together through music.
We are proud of our history and look forward to welcoming new players who want to be part of the orchestra's continuing story.
Music made for the love of playing
Whether you play strings, woodwind, brass, or percussion, you will find an encouraging and welcoming space every Thursday evening to dust off your instrument and play.
